K-9530 Diverter Thread Sizes
The two-way diverter valve, model K-9530, utilizes four ports to allow the valve to be installed in a deck mount or wall mount installation application.
Three ports of the valve are 3/4”-14 NPSM thread. The smaller 1/2”-14 NPSM thread port is intended for a handshower only. Please review the installation instructions for installation specific plumbing diagrams.
The valve was introduced in 1994, before PEX or PVC fittings were introduced into the plumbing industry, and thus maintains the NPSM thread.
