Sterling Vikrell and Severe Cold Conditions

As part of the product development process, Sterling has conducted extreme temperature testing on Sterling Vikrell bathing and showering products. Testing involves cycling the product between -40 F and +160 F five times and then inspecting for damage. Our Vikrell products pass this test.

There is no special procedure for cold weather installations. The shower receptor needs to be supported by the sub-floor and secured to studs with attachment clips. Walls are designed to secure direct to wood studs with screw fasteners.
