Check Valve Service Kit 1042007 is used in the Vinnata K-690 and K-691. It is also used in the Clairette K-692 Kitchen Faucet.

If the valve body of your faucet looks like the picture below, you do not need check valve service kit; the check valve is already installed correctly in the sprayhead.

If the valve body of your faucet looks like the picture below, the Check Valve Service Kit is used in the faucet bodies manufactured prior to 2005. Refer to the directions below for replacing the service kit.

The plug with o-ring in the check valve kit should fit together, as shown in the picture below. The o-ring should be placed in the center of plug

The narrow end of the plug should face outward after installation
