Replace the filter cartridges: every 6 months, when the capacity has been exceeded, or when a noticeable decrease in water flow is observed.
Turn OFF the water supply.
Position a bucket under the filtration system to catch residual water.
Turn the filter cartridge clockwise as far as possible and pull down gently to remove.
Write the installation date on the new filter cartridge label.
Remove and discard the cap from the filter cartridge.
Inspect the filter cartridge for damage.
Verify that both O-rings are present and are positioned correctly in the grooves.
Line up the filter cartridge with the filter head.
Press the filter cartridge upward and rotate 90° counterclockwise to the locked position.
Turn ON the water supply.
Check the filter cartridge connections for leaks. Repair as needed.
Run water through the faucet for 5 minutes to remove any air and carbon particles in the system.
If the tabs in the filter head are not aligned, it will prevent installation of new filter cartridge.
Reinstall the OLD filter cartridge to the filter head.
Press the OLD filter cartridge upward and rotate it clockwise as far as possible.
Remove the OLD filter cartridge.
Line up the NEW filter cartridge with the filter head.
Press the filter cartridge upward and rotate it counterclockwise 90° to the locked position.
Turn ON the water supply.
Check the filter cartridge connections for leaks. Repair as needed.
Run water through the faucet for 5 minutes to remove any air and carbon particles in the system.
