Levity® Shower Doors - Roller Installation and Adjustment

Overview

The rollers for the Levity sliding shower door are designed to allow easy out-of-plumb adjustment. The following sections describe proper roller assembly and adjustment.

WARNING: The rollers for the outside door include anti-jump clips. Proper installation of the clips is critical for door safety.

NOTE: The rollers for the inside door contain a brass bushing.

NOTE: The holes for the inside rollers and outside rollers are in different locations on the door panels.

Roller Assembly - Inside Door

  • The inside glass door panel is positioned closest to the shower.

  • The holes for the rollers are 4-3/8" (111 mm) from the top of the glass.

  • The inside door roller components are assembled to the glass panel as shown.

  • Install each inside roller with the tab on top. This will position the door at its highest setting, allowing for easier adjustment if necessary.

  • The screw is secured into the brass insert.

Roller Assembly - Outside Door

  • The outside glass door panel is positioned closest to the shower.

  • The holes for the rollers are 2-1/4" (57 mm) from the top of the glass.

  • The outside roller components are assembled to the glass panel and secured with a screw as shown.

  • Install the outside rollers with the tab on the clamp on top.

  • Hold the clip downward as the screw is tightened.

WARNING: The rollers for the outside door include anti-jump clips. Proper installation of the clips is critical for door safety.

  • The hooks of the clips should be positioned inside the header

Door Alignment

After the door panels are installed, the rollers can be adjusted for out-of-plumb conditions. Alignment is achieved by rotating the cam.

Roller Adjustment

  • Remove the cap to access the cam.
    Loosen the screw.

  • Rotate both cams to adjust door height uniformly. * Rotate one cam to rotate the door to correct an out-of-plumb condition.
NOTE: The door will be at its highest position when the raised portion of the cam is located at the top.

IMPORTANT! Make sure the screw is retightened before reinstalling the cap.

  • Once door alignment is achieved, tighten the screw.

  • Reinstall the cap.
