Toilets & Seats

Refer to the following directions for installing a standard toilet seat that does not use Quick- Attach hardware. If your toilet seat is a Q2 or Q3 seat, refer to the additional resources section.

Begin by snapping open the hinge covers.

Align the holes underneath the covers with the holes in the toilet bowl. If your seat comes with a metal washer and rubber washer, the rubber washer goes in-between the hinge and china.

Fit the bolts through the hinges from the top

Thread the plastic nuts on the bolts from below. It is best to tighten the bolts from the top, like a screw, holding on to the bolts if necessary. Keep the seat straight and centered as you tighten the bolts
