Install a Toilet Seat with Quick Attach Hardware
Refer to the following directions for installing a toilet seat with Quick Attach hardware.

Place the toilet seat on the toilet.

Insert the bolt through the top side of the toilet seat hinge and push the wing nut from the underside until it meets the bowl (Fig. 1). The wing nut easily slides on and off the bolt. Once the conical top of the wing nut goes into the hole, it will catch the bolt threads. (Note: the entire wing nut will not fit into the hole, just the top of it) (Fig. 2).

Tighten with a screwdriver from the top. The wing nut does not need to be held while tightening.
