Floor Mounted Toilets

Current production KOHLER floor mounted vitreous china water closet bowls will withstand a vertical force up to 1,000 lbs. Note that there are no standards that specify a minimum load bearing capability requirement for floor mount water closets. Products met the requirements of the standard on the date the product was manufactured.

Wall Mounted Toilets

Current production KOHLER wall mounted vitreous china water closets meet the 500 lbs. minimum load bearing requirements of the ASME A112.19.2-2005/CSA B4 5.1-05 National Consensus Standards for Vitreous China Plumbing Fixtures.

Wall Mounted Lavatories

Current product KOHLER wall mounted lavatories meet the 250 lbs. minimum load bearing requirements of the ASME A112.19.2-2005/CSA B45.1-05 National Consensus Standards for Vitreous China Plumbing Fixtures.

Wall Mounted Urinals

Current product KOHLER wall mounted vitreous china urinals meet the 50 lbs. minimum load bearing requirements of the ASME A112.19.2-2005/CSA B45.1-05 National Consensus Standards for Vitreous China Plumbing Fixtures.

Toilet Seats

KOHLER does not specify a weight limit on our toilet seats. These seats are designed to pass the industry standard ANSI Z124 Plastic Toilet Seat Test Requirements for residential toilet seats. This specification calls out static load tests of 300 lbs. and several dynamic tests that involve side load rocking and drop testing, which these seats have passed.
